“I saw singer-songwriter Piper Reva’s show last night at The Commons Coffeehouse and I was blown away. Piper Reva is chock full of talent with a killer voice and a knack for writing lots of funny songs and heartfelt ballads that surprise you with their excellent poetry. On top of it all, she has this unself-conscious ability to perform her songs with a no-holds-barred, gonna-sing-my-heart-out presence with unapologetic rough-hewn grace. (Plus, her sound system is excellent.) I love this performer for her pure unchained talent. ”
Patricia Duff / Editor / South Whidbey Record

“Wow, you really bare your Soul in your performance. It is a treasured intimacy. You are so original, authentic and honest it became a ceremony, a ritual where we could feel each other. Your art is the essential gift, medicine, leading us deep into ourselves and our lives where we can find Soul and feel the collective. May your tour have many ceremonies, May your medicine heal many people.”
Heronemo Sheppard,Ecstatic Dancer / Seattle, Washington

“For some reason my initial feeling was that this was some kind of inadvertent and freakish train wreck between Alanis Morisette and Shawn Mullens. With beams of the beatnik Kerouack shining through… Those feelings, however, quickly dissipated. Your style throughout the piece is truly original and in the end refuses to be pigeon-holed.  To surmise,  to describe what appears to capture sheer spontaneity itself… I sensed through the work that the artist has a deep, abiding and ongoing love affair with the unrehearsed and torrid aspects of emotional roller coasters. All in all an interesting and eclectic compilation, always beguiling whatever it was that I expected next.”
Robert Ritter, Existentialist / Micanopy, Florida

Piper Smiling“Last night i heard the voice of a fallen angel. From the sensual swirl of the soft notes to the get- the- fuck- out- of- my- way growl of the hard ones, you intertwine the tales of people met and experiences out on the road. Piper, I want to thank you for the three hour look into your soul, a time that went by as quickly as a snowflake melts when it hits the ground.”
Jack Smeltz, Blues Guitar / Cleveland, OH

“One listen and one look at singer/songwriter Piper Reva is all it takes to realize that there is something different about her. The sound is completely organic and comes from a place in the soul that few singers reach.”
–Garrett Lyons, Music Critic, Verbicide Magazine / New York

” I am amazed at the world you have made for yourself. Firstly, the music, I enjoyed it very much. Your voice is soulful, warm, and emotive while at the same time odd, mysterious and compelling. It almost felt as if you were telling more than one story at the same time, with the subconscious picking up on the unspoken one.”
Andy Samford of Electric Minnow Music / Atlanta, GA.
